Regarding switching from Sketch to Framer X, I would suggest you look into your day-to-day deliverables and decide.

For me, I treat Framer X as a tool that I use when I am experimenting or learning new things. For production, I have switched to Figma since it does a great job in supporting my existing workflow and very less cost of learning. Hope this helps.
